Andrea Fripp has over 25 years of experience in banking, governmental finance, and mortgage lending. She is currently Vice President of Community and Business Development with First Palmetto Bank where her primary role is to make certain the bank is servicing the community by developing and maintaining partnerships with organizations, businesses and individuals that lead to the achievement of affordable housing, economic and community development and lending objectives.
Prior to First Palmetto Bank, she was a mortgage lender licensed in multiple states. Her ability to make her clients feel at ease as well as her knowledge of the loan process earned her a stellar reputation among her clientele and the real estate community. Fripp also served as Chief Financial Officer for the Richland County Recreation Commission where she managed a 15M operating budget and a 50M capital projects bond.
She has a passion for educating those who need help with generational wealth building through home ownership. She also teaches financial literacy in classroom settings as well as to the community and underserved populations. Fripp currently serves as Councilwoman for the Town of Blythewood. She is the Vice President of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers for the Greater Piedmont Area; she has served as a Guardian ad Litem in Richland County for the past 17 years, is a member of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women and is involved in other various professional and civic organizations
