Michelle Logan-Owens

After growing up watching a nursing staff support her grandfather, Michelle Logan-Owens earned a Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of South Carolina in 1994. She furthered her education with a Master’s Degree and, in 2014, received a Doctorate in health care administration, both from the Medical University of South Carolina. After years of hard work with Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital, she has advanced and served as President and CEO of Tuomey Healthcare System. Now she works as the Chief Executive Officer for Prisma Health. She is a member of many organizations including The Forum, the American College of Health Care Executives, the South Carolina Organization of Nurse Executives, in addition to various honors societies. Using her expertise, she has served on boards for the South Carolina Families of Highway Fatalities and the South Carolina Hospital Association.
