Identify your Community Leadership Style

February 18 @ 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm EST

Free

Presented in partnership with All in Together

Through this interactive virtual workshop, you will learn about Community Leadership as a tool to create positive change. You will identify your strengths as a civic leader and how to use those strengths to achieve your goals. There are many civic leadership styles and we want to help you find what works for you and provide you with resources to become your type of civic leader in a safe, fun, and accessible space. In the workshop you will:

  • – learn about leadership in a community context
  • – understand the importance of leaders and community/civic leaders in the process of creating positive change
  • – identify your community leadership style, strengths and opportunity areas
  • – understand how to collaborate in a team as a leader or supporter based on the different styles and strengths

This is a 1-hour interactive virtual workshop that includes individual and group exercises. Please bring paper and a pen/pencil since we will have some quick and fun exercises. No previous knowledge about the topics is required; this is an introductory workshop for all people interested in civic engagement at a local level.
