There are many ways you can contribute financially to SC WIL and watch our numbers grow. We are committed to connecting more women to each other and to opportunities to step into leadership roles.
Join the 51% Club!
More than half the population is female, yet women hold just 17.6% of seats in the state legislature and similarly underrepresented in local offices and on appointed public boards and commissions. Support our mission of reversing those numbers with recurring monthly donations at the $25, $50, $75 or $100 level.
Make a one-time donation to support our mission of increasing racial and gender diversity and the influence of women at all levels of leadership.
Dr. Suzan D. Boyd Pathways to Leadership Fund
The Pathways to Leadership Fund was created to honor the qualities of its namesake who charted a unique roadmap and drove organizations to succeed. The fund underwrites seminars, conferences, and workshops that help S.C. women develop skills that overcome obstacles to leadership. The fund is supported by generous gifts from individuals and organizations starting at the $2,500 level.
WIL seeks financial support from corporate partners to further our mission. These partners gain both tax benefits and brand alignment with SC WIL projects and programs. Recognition includes branding on our website, in email communications to our 50,000+ participant network, on social media, and complimentary registration to conferences and events. Corporate sponsorships typically range between $5,000 and $25,000.
Leading Women Dinner – September 28, 2022
The 2022 Leading Women Dinner recognizes and celebrates all the brave South Carolina women who have stepped forward to seek elective (win or lose) and appointive office. It is a key fundraising opportunity for SC WIL with presenting, reception, dinner sponsorships plus tables and tickets. Due to institutional, socio-economic, and cultural barriers that persist in South Carolina, running for elected office is daunting for even the boldest of women. The Leading Women Dinner honors women who have charted paths so that others may follow and builds a support network to encourage other women to vie for leadership roles in elective and appointive office. A list of all support opportunities is at this link.
Donors and sponsors may contact Barbara Rackes, CEO, at email@example.com for more information.
