Eaddy Roe Willard
Eaddy Roe Willard has over twenty five years of experience working in politics, government and public service. It is the diversity of that experience that serves her well as President of RoeWillard Consulting, a grassroots public affairs and political consulting group that specializes in assisting local candidates and promoting issue-oriented information activism.
Ms. Willard’s career in politics includes working on both candidate and issue-oriented campaigns; her expertise encompasses aspects of campaign management including fundraising, field and volunteer coordination, media relations, and “Get out the Vote” activities for campaigns at the local and statehouse levels as well as congressional and presidential races.
In government and public policy, Ms. Willard’s positions held include Research and Communications Assistant to the SC Senate Medical Affairs Committee, Congressional Press Secretary, and National Field Director to a Washington, DC based grassroots advocacy group.
As South Carolina Executive Director of the National Excellence In Public Service Series, a women’s leadership program she worked to train and prepare women who are interested in running for public office.
Her volunteer experience includes serving as a member of the SC Foster Care Review Board – both at the county and state levels; Board member to the Southeastern Institute for Women in Politics; First Vice Chair of the South Carolina Republican Party, as well as Secretary to the Executive Committee under two State Chairmen; Chairman of the Richland County Republican Party; Advisory Committee Member of the non-partisan US Global Leadership Coalition, and US Peace Corp Volunteer to Thailand. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, and the Women’s Campaign School at Yale.
